General Pronunciation Shift Rules
Rule 1
The combination “ان” changes into “ون” in colloquial Persian in most cases (especially in single syllable). This rule is true even for free and enclitic pronouns containing the “ان” combination.
دارد باران می‌آید.
داره بارون می‌آد.
خانه پر از مهمان است.
خونه پر از مهمونه.
نمی‌دانم از کجا نان بخرم
نمی‌دونم از کجا نون بخرم.
آسمانِ شهرمان آبی است.
آسمونِ شهرمون آبیه.
آن مُبل نباید آنجا باشد.
اون مُبل نباید اونجا باشه.
زبانتان خیلی سخت است.
زبونتون خیلی سخته.
It is raining.
 
The house is full of guests (lit. guest).
 
I don’t from where I should buy bread.
 
The sky of our city is blue.
 
That sofa should not be there.
 
Your (pl.) language is very hard.
 
However, the change is mostly limited to less formal and highly frequent words. There are a lot of cases where the change does not occur:
تهران پایتختِ ایران است.
تهران پایتختِ ایرانه.
در آن زمان قانون این‌طوری نبود.
اون زمان قانون این‌طوری نبود.
الآن باید بروی.
الآن باید بری.
Tehran is the capital of Iran.
 
At the time, the law was not like this.
 
Now you should go.
 
Rule 2:
Similarly, the combination “ام” changes into “وم” in colloquial Persian in some cases.But this is much less frequent.
مینا آمد.
مینا اومد.
مسابقه تمام شد.
مسابقه تموم شد.
کدام در؟
کدوم در؟
Mina came.
 
The competition ended.
